About the Service & Age Limit

The service is provided by Tobias, operating as a sole proprietorship (Webbvavaren) in Sweden. Contact: onskelista4@gmail.com.

The service is free of charge, requires no account registration, and is provided as-is without any guarantee of availability. The service is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years of age, with parental guidance for minors under 18.

Your Wishlist and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you create. Do not enter sensitive personal information, third-party personal data, or content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on anyone else's rights.

You may not use the service to send unsolicited messages (spam), harass others, or engage in automated mass usage, scraping, or attempts to overload or circumvent technical protections.

User-Generated Content (Reviews)

By submitting a review on wishlist4.com, you confirm that the content is truthful, not illegal, offensive, misleading, or infringing on third-party rights.

You may not use the review feature to spread spam, advertising for other services, or content that is offensive or discriminatory.

wishlist4.com reserves the right to review, refuse to publish, or subsequently remove reviews at its sole discretion, without giving reasons.

By submitting a review, you grant wishlist4.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display, publish, and reproduce the content on the site and for marketing purposes related to wishlist4.com.

Reviews reflect the individual user's opinions and do not necessarily represent the position of wishlist4.com.

Storage, Sharing and Access

Your wishlist is stored on our servers and identified by unique, randomly generated codes (tokens): an owner link for editing, sharing and deleting the list, and a share link for family and friends to view it and mark gifts as taken.

Anyone with access to your share link can view the list and mark gifts as taken. As the owner of the list, you are responsible for sharing the link only with the people you intend. We cannot guarantee that a link that has been passed on, intentionally or unintentionally, is only reached by the intended recipients.

You can delete your list at any time via your owner link.

Wishlists are stored for three (3) months from the last recorded access. Each visit to the list's unique link renews the storage period by a further three (3) months. Lists that have not been visited within this period are permanently deleted without prior notice beyond the information provided in the original email message. Automated requests, such as link previews and crawlers, are not counted as access.

As a general rule, the list owner does not see which gifts have been marked as taken in the editing view, in order to preserve the surprise for the person the list is for. However, because the owner also has access to the share link (in order to pass it on), the owner can choose to open that link and see claim status just like any recipient — this is a deliberate part of the link-based model, not something we can technically prevent. Exception: lists imported from wishlist4santa.com, where claim status is intentionally shown to the owner directly in the editing view (see the 'Lists Imported from wishlist4santa.com' section above).

No Account, No Recovery via Login

Since the service requires no account, there is no way to recover a lost link via login. To make it easier to find your lists again, your browser may store a list of your owner codes locally; this is not account data and contains no name, email address, or other identifiable information. We still recommend that you save your owner link somewhere safe.

Lists Imported from wishlist4santa.com

If you receive a wishlist created by a child on wishlist4santa.com and choose to import it via the backup link, a new list is created on our servers under the same storage principles described above.

Unlike lists created directly on wishlist4.com, this type of list is configured so that the owner can see claim status directly in the editing view, allowing them to coordinate before sharing the link further.

No child's name is transferred as part of this process — the recipient/first name field is always reset during import.

Backup Email Feature

You may voluntarily enter an email address to receive a direct link to your wishlist. Please only enter an email address you own or have explicit permission to use.

We cannot guarantee email delivery, and links may cease to function if the service changes or is discontinued. The email address is processed solely for the single transmission of the link and is not stored for marketing purposes.

Gift Ideas, Server Analysis & Affiliate Links

The service may display gift ideas with links to external merchant websites based on categories or keywords in your wishlist.

Server Analysis & Statistics: When you create your wishlist, the text may be analyzed automatically on our server to provide gift ideas and aggregate statistics about general wish trends. The analysis compares the text against a fixed list of categories, products, and brands. Only structured matches (such as product categories, language, and country) are retained as aggregate statistics. The original wishlist text itself is not stored in our trend database. These aggregate statistics cannot be linked to any individual user or list.

Affiliate Disclosure: No wishlist text, names, or email addresses are ever sent to merchants or affiliate networks. Some external links on the site are commercial affiliate links, meaning we may receive a small commission if a purchase is made after following the link. The price remains exactly the same for you, and commercial links are clearly labeled.

External Sites: We are not responsible for the content, prices, product availability, or privacy practices of external third-party websites.

Availability & "AS IS" Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE MAY CHANGE, LIMIT, PAUSE, OR DISCONTINUE PARTS OF THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TOBIAS OR WEBBVAVAREN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, LOST WISHLISTS, OR FAILED EMAIL DELIVERIES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS YOU HAVE UNDER MANDATORY CONSUMER LEGISLATION IN YOUR JURISDICTION.

Class Action Waiver

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS TO RESOLVE OR LITIGATE ANY DISPUTE WILL BE CONDUCTED SOLELY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS ACTION OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Intellectual Property

The design, graphics, text, and source code of the service belong to us. The text content you write in your own wishlist remains yours.

Misuse & Access Restriction

We reserve the right to restrict or block access to the service, in whole or in part, for users who misuse it — for example through spam, automated mass usage, attempts to disrupt the service, or unlawful content. Because the service has no user accounts, such restriction is applied technically (for example by blocking abusive email addresses from the backup feature or throttling abusive traffic) and may be applied without prior notice where necessary to protect the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version is always available on this page, and material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer legislation in your country of residence states otherwise.
